I model mainly buildings, spacecraft (existing or sci-fi) and objects.
Usually I work from from photo references and use photo-realistic textures.
I also do optimized / low poly models as game assets.
Lately I've explored higher detail models with PBR textures and advanced materials.
2D Concepts, Pixel Art, Logos, Leaflets
Original concept illustrations for materials or 3D models
Design of elements to promote companies and services
NES and ZX Spectrum style 8-bit pixel art with accurate palettes and limitations.
I create and develop complete websites, from layout design to HTML/CSS coding, including responsive layout (Bootstrap / Jquery), image galleries, animations and custom functionalities.
Besides personal and institutional sites, over the years I've installed and configured online shops and, content management systems.
I do some development to support my webdesign projects, for example setting up a of a small backoffice to update content or manage on site images.
I had the opportunity to develop online 3D model viewers ( Flash AS3, Google Earth API), integrated in virtual tour sites. I also developed related online 360º virtual tours, with viewing angles, point of interest selection and navigation between panoramas.
Astronomy and Digital Image Processing
I was an active amateur astronomer for a long time. After some time I started processing space probe images and using online remote robotic observatories. Know more about it on my Astronomy Page.
Simulators and Astronautics
Over the time I became engaged on realistic simulations, both of airplanes and spaceships. Since I'm already into astronomy, the jump to astronautics and orbital mechanics was easy. See my Blog dedicated to space simulation.
I do mainly landscape, panoramas and architecture photography. See my online albums on Flickr
Started playing electric guitar when a teen and was part of some bands. My favorite style is the Blues with some Clapton/Hendrix flavor.
